Dr. Nora Barber moved to North Carolina from Connecticut in 2001. She lives in Cary Park with her husband Ed and two children James and Claire.
Dr. Barber believes strongly in the preventative approach to dentistry, that every guest should have the opportunity to be well educated about his or her own dental health and also be given the resources to improve it. She has been to preschools and elementary schools to help educate young children about the importance of good oral health.
Dr. Barber loves getting to know all her guests and she treats them as if they were her family! When she is not practicing dentistry, she loves being with her own family enjoying the outdoors. A few activities they are passionate about are hiking, swimming and playing basketball.
An interesting fact that many people do not know about Dr. Barber is that she met her husband while playing together on the Boys basketball team at age 12, she was inducted into her high school’s Hall of Fame and she played Division 1 Basketball for four years at Hofstra University.

Dr. White was born and raised in Northeastern North Carolina and has always called the state of North Carolina home. Due to the rural nature of this part of North Carolina, his love for the outdoors began at a young age.
Dr. White attended East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine where he served as the Community Service Chair for the pre-doctoral student group DMD for two years. In his last year of dental school, he accepted placement with New York Langone Hospital’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Juneau, Alaska while providing care for guests at the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). Also in his last year, Dr. White was presented with the International College of Dentists’ 2017 Humanitarian Award for his commitment to community service.
After completing dental school, Dr. White traveled to Juneau to complete the one-year requirement and optional second year of the AEGD program. During his time in Alaska, he often travelled to remote communities surrounding Juneau to provide dental care to the populations that needed to fly to Juneau for dental care. During his free time while in Alaska, Dr. White enjoyed halibut and salmon fishing, hiking and camping in the mountains surrounding Juneau. He also participated in the 2017 and 2018 Klondike Road Relay Race in which he completed 1 of the 10 legs of the race stretching over 110 miles from Skagway, Alaska to Whitehorse, Canada.
Upon completion of the AEGD program, Dr. White desired to return to his native state of North Carolina to provide dental care for his fellow North Carolinians. He is excited to begin practicing within the state and learning more about CAD/CAM dentistry and implantology.
In his free time, Dr. White enjoys watching all UNC Sports, spending time on the OBX, fishing, camping, running, cooking and traveling. He aspires to visit and explore all 50 states, with already checking off two of the hardest states from the East Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii.

As we continue to monitor the rapidly changing landscape around the coronavirus (COVID-19), our primary goal is for the safety and well-being of our patients and team members.
In response to the recommendations from the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Board, WE ARE OPEN for dental work deemed Emergency Care. Emergency care is defined as trauma, broken tooth, pain, swelling, or infection.
All other, non-emergency care will be scheduled for a later date.
We have made this decision for the health and safety of you and our team members,
If you believe you have a dental emergency, instead of going to your local hospital emergency room we would prefer you contact us in order to avoid overwhelming healthcare workers dealing with those suffering from the coronavirus.
In the event you have a dental emergency during this time, please call for an appointment OR schedule a virtual consultation to speak with a doctor from the comfort of your home.
We have teams in several locations prepared to treat dental emergencies.
We will update this schedule and availability as more information becomes available.
Our commitment is to provide urgent dental care in a clean, safe and efficient manner during this turbulent time.
We are available for you.
Stay safe and healthy and we’ll see you at the office again soon!
