Nora Barber, D.D.S.
Dr. Nora Barber moved to North Carolina from Connecticut in 2001. She lives in Cary Park with her husband Ed and two children James and Claire.
Dr. Barber believes strongly in the preventative approach to dentistry, that every guest should have the opportunity to be well educated about his or her own dental health and also be given the resources to improve it. She has been to preschools and elementary schools to help educate young children about the importance of good oral health.
Dr. Barber loves getting to know all her guests and she treats them as if they were her family! When she is not practicing dentistry, she loves being with her own family enjoying the outdoors. A few activities they are passionate about are hiking, swimming and playing basketball.
An interesting fact that many people do not know about Dr. Barber is that she met her husband while playing together on the Boys basketball team at age 12, she was inducted into her high school’s Hall of Fame and she played Division 1 Basketball for four years at Hofstra University.

Patrick Haddad, D.D.S.
Dr Patrick Haddad was born and raised in the Washington DC area before completing his Bachelors of Science at VCU in Richmond, Virginia and his Dental education at UNC-Chapel Hill in North Carolina.
Dr. Haddad enjoys completing esthetic driven cases for his patients and providing oral surgery in a comforting atmosphere.
He grew up as an athlete and to this day loves playing sports like basketball and ice hockey, or simply staying active. He is also an avid Washington Capitals fan who enjoys Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine as it reminds him of his Lebanese roots.

Toni Goins, D.D.S.
Dr. Goins is originally from Memphis, TN and has been a resident of North Carolina since 2014. She resides in Durham, NC with her husband Garland, and their two kids Kennedy and Caleb. Dr. Goins received her Bachelors of Science degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2001, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN in 2006. Once she completed her doctorate she moved to Houston, Texas to complete a General Practice Residency program in Hospital Dentistry as well as rotations in Oral Surgery, Otolaryngology, Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Goins has worked in all aspects of dentistry over the last 14 years from public health dentistry in rural areas of the state, hospital, and private practice dentistry. She really enjoys giving patients an opportunity to be provided with comprehensive dentistry in a relaxed state at the Surgical Center for Dental Professionals located in Raleigh, NC. In this environment, patients are placed under general anesthesia and have comprehensive dental treatment completed without any severe anxiety.
Dr. Goins is dedicated to providing the best dental treatment as well as providing options for treatment plans developed for her patients. She continues to do so by staying up to date on her continuing education courses and collaborating with other dental professionals. The services she provides include but aren’t limited to root canals, crown and bridge, restoring implant crowns, cosmetic veneers (using either tooth-colored restorative material or porcelain veneers, simple and surgical extractions, complete dentures, partials, and of course hospital dentistry in an inpatient setting. When she isn’t working Dr. Goins enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling and most of all watching sports, especially track and field, football, and basketball!

Joseph Short, DMD
Dr. Joseph Short was born in Raleigh, NC and currently lives in Cary with his fiancée, Roni. He attended college at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he obtained his BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. After working for several years in RTP doing clinical research he decided to go back to school to pursue a career in dentistry, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UNC-Chapel Hill.
He takes a special interest in the dental treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea for which he completed a mini-residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Short also managed a dental Sleep Clinic.
Dr. Short enjoys building relationships with his patients and treats all of his patients as if they were his own family. When not practicing dentistry he is an avid athlete and outdoorsman who enjoys woodworking, basketball, hiking, fishing, and spending time with his two dogs, Birdie and Levi.
